Make Your Values Last Forever By Endowing a Gift to the SCARC Foundation
A contribution today to support the SCARC Foundation’s current needs is always welcome. But have you thought about creating a permanent source of income that could continue your generosity into perpetuity and allow us to honor you and a loved one forever?
Such an arrangement is known as an endowed gift, and it may be far easier to establish than you realize. In addition to the satisfaction of making a lasting gift, your generosity can result in significant tax and estate planning advantages for you and your family.
The SCARC Foundation Board of Trustees raises funds each year for the SCARC Foundation Endowment Fund and our other “named” funds listed below. This helps to ensure the long-term viability of programs and services for people with developmental disabilities served by SCARC, Inc. and SCARC Guardianship Services, Inc.
The SCARC Foundation recognizes the legal and moral contract it has with its donors, especially with respect to permanently restricted endowment gifts. Accordingly, the SCARC Foundation shall only adopt investment policies that ensure donor stipulations are strictly adhered to and that protect the corpus, in accordance with state law.
The SCARC Foundation currently oversees the following endowment funds:
- SCARC Foundation Endowment Fund
- Pasquale T. Romano, Sr. Endowment Fund
- Gloria J. Romano Endowment Fund
- Deacon Family Endowment Fund
- Wilburt F. Vollmer Endowment Fund
