SCARC and SCARC Guardianship Services continues to provide critical services and supports to children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families.  The Gordon Shelton Memorial Walk-a-thon provides funds that enable us to remain agile, responsive and innovative, especially during times like these.

Now, more than ever, we need your support!

Come one, come all to the 23nd annual Gordon & Ginny Shelton Memorial Walkathon on Sunday, June 23, 2024 at the Sussex County Fairgrounds.  Registration begins at 9am and the Walk begins at 10:30AM.  Each year, participation grows in this enjoyable event for people of all ages. Join our enthusiastic walkers in this 1.8 mile stroll to raise money in support of services provided to individuals with developmental disabilities served by SCARC and SCARC Guardianship.

Gordon Shelton was a long time SCARC supporter, serving on the Board of Trustees for twenty-nine years. His commitment to individuals with developmental disabilities grew out of his love for his daughter, Bonnie, who receives services from SCARC.
