A history of service in Sussex County
The SCARC Foundation is a non-profit corporation founded in 1985 to support the efforts of SCARC, Inc. and SCARC Guardianship Services, Inc. in providing services and supports to individuals with developmental disabilities.
- SCARC, Inc provides community-based support options serving the lifelong needs of individuals with developmental disabilities with respect, flexibility, and an ongoing commitment to providing quality services and supports.
- SCARC Guardianship Services, Inc. serves as guardian for individuals who are without family or friends who can serve in that capacity. They also assist families in obtaining guardianship for their loved one with a disability, and offer future planning and trustee services.
The SCARC Foundation Board of Trustees is comprised of community leaders and business representatives committed to ensuring that the SCARC Foundation maintains a stable and growing financial position, and to empowering and supporting their fellow citizens with developmental disabilities.
